Travel Health Insurance – Anaphylactic Shock
We haven’t not traveled without taking out a travel health insurance policy in over 10 years. About that much time ago, my husband had a terrible, terrible outbreak of rashes, and he’d forgotten his epinephrine pen. And he broke out into hives, and his chest filled in with hives itself, and he couldn’t breathe. He started to go into anaphylactic shock, and we were on the plane at the time. And the main problem we had at that point was that we were just about at the midnight of our flight plan, but closer to our destination than our starting point, and over the Atlantic.
